The women of First Presbyterian Church meet twice monthly to create a variety of handwork used in many ways throughout the church and the community. The many projects include Baptismal Dolls, Chrismons, Chrismons Tree (decorations), Empty Arms Program, Knitting Group, Mother/Daughter Birthday Offering Favors, Northeast Georgia Medical Center Projects, Stuffed Animals, Nursing Home Favors, Edmondson-Telford Home, Artists, and New Projects. There are approximately 30 women in this group and we always need more. All women who enjoy sewing or handwork are invited to join us. You don't need to know how to sew to be of great help to Wonderful Works. Meeting dates 2004 April 1 & 15. |
