Tuesday Lunch Bunch meets the fourth Tuesday of each month September through May. To cover special events we do change meeting sometime but notice and reason are given much in advance. A meal is served and a program. Short trips are made to interesting eating places, etc. Signup sheets are posted each month in the hall from the Sanctuary to Swetenberg Hall. Cost is minimum.
Montreat Senior Conference is held the first week in October each year. We reserve the entire building for our group. The church bus is used as transportation. We go up on Monday and return Friday. Each year a different person is the devotional leader usually a pastor. We enjoy the scenery, singing, food and fellowship. Each afternoon's activities are left up to you. Nearly everyone visits the surrounding area.
Travel. This is new. So far we have had trips to Andy Williams Christmas concert and to Calloway Gardens to see the Christmas lights which were very enjoyable. Plans are now in the works for a trip April 12-14 to Charleston S.C., and in the fall to Branson, Mo. All members are welcome.
Health Checkup. Plans are for health screenings at W.O.W. Family Night Supper which will be blood pressure checks, etc.
Drama. Plans are being formulated for a Drama Club. Watch The Call for information.
