B. J. Calloway, Organist
Many of the musical endeavors at FPC could not function without the able assistance from our church organist. In addition to providing music for worship and her work as accompanist for the Chancel Choir and Primetime Singers, B. J. directs the Cherub II and Carol Choirs for children.

Shalene Miller, Director
smiller@fpcga.org

Shalene Miller is one of the few folks who can call themselves a true Florida native. She grew up on the Gulf of Mexico in the city of Bradenton where her parents, Yvonne and Harry Bedell, still reside. During her time at Montreat College, she met her husband, Matt Miller. Their dog, “Moka,” is their only child for now. Shalene attained her B.A. in Bible and Religion focusing on Youth Ministry from Montreat College. She served as youth director in Miami, Florida, and Marion, North Carolina, before God “brought us to this intensely prayerful and wonderful church family!”

Shalene understands that she cannot be a minister to young people without submitting to God’s complete and total control over everything carried out. “That is how I know God wants me in youth ministry—because He knows this is the only job that I have to depend completely and totally upon his wisdom and strength to carry out His work. I cannot make any move without my God who moves me!” Shalene is excited to be working alongside of the youth, their parents, adult volunteers, staff and members of FPC to create a safe, exciting and challenging environment where young people can discover how to live life to its fullest by diving into the awesome power of the Holy Spirit in the Word of God, growing a relationship with God or stretching the boundaries of the one they already have with Him.
