"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Thanksgiving Food Baskets: The Menu—Baked ham; canned green beans, corn and sweet potatoes; dried beans; cake, muffin or cornbread mixes; flour and sugar (one bag each); container of coffee or tea Non-perishables may be dropped off at the designated table in Swetenburg Hall by Wednesday, November 19. There will be two lists to sign on the table. The first will indicate who will bring hams between Sunday, November 16, and Wednesday, November 19. Hams that need refrigeration should be placed in the freezer marked “Thanksgiving Basket Hams” in the Swetenburg Hall kitchen. The second list will be to volunteer to deliver meals Saturday, November 22. Each driver will deliver only one or two meals. If you prefer to give money, it will be used to buy food to even out the baskets. Please make your check payable to FPC and designate “Thanksgiving Basket” on the memo line. You may mail or bring your check to the church office or place it in the Sunday collection plate. Last year we filled baskets for 32 families. We hope to do as well this year. Thank you for your generosity to people in our community who need a helping hand. For more information contact John Testement or Sarah Pickard, Diaconate Outreach Committee.
