Join us for worship We would love to have you join us for worship services at FPC! We have both traditional and contemporary services each Sunday and gather for Sunday school each Lord's Day at 10:00. What to Expect when you visit... You will be greeted at the door by a member of First Presbyterian Church. They will guide you toward the service you wish to attend and see that you are given an Order of Worship which will tell you exactly what happens during the service. If you have any questions, ask anyone around you. They will be happy to assist you. If you have particular prayer needs, ask to speak to Stephen Minister so that we may give you the prayer support you need. In worship, we sing, read scripture, pray and refocus our minds on the God who created the universe and loves us. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion monthly and at particular times during the Christian year. Special worship materials are made available to children, and those in pre-K and kindergarten are invited to participate in Children's Church, which follows the Children's Sermon. A nursery is also available for infants and young children. Worship is our total response — in and out of the sanctuary — on Sundays and on every other day of the week — for all that God has done for us in Jesus Christ. Worship allows us to acknowledge with joy and gratitude that it is God alone whom we love and serve. |
