OUTREACH/MISSIONS
IN ACTION Presbyterian Homes of Georgia A special Mother’s Day Offering is collected each year to benefit the CARING HANDS FUND of Presbyterian Homes of Georgia. This annual offering is the largest source of funds for benevolent care for Presbyterian Homes' four communities in Georgia. The Presbyterian Homes’ charitable work will amount to $2.75 million this year. These funds provided direct assistance to 445 senior adults last year. For example, if a resident depletes his/her savings, our donations bridge the gap between what Medicaid provides and his/her actual expenses. If a resident needs help with home services or buying meals, our gifts provide the services she/he needs to maintain her/his independence. Our congregation joins more than 200 other Presbyterian churches yearly to support this vital ministry.
