 Medical Benevolence

Through the World Mission Conference and the Basic Sunday School Class, First Presbyterian Church in Gainesville supports the Medical Benevolence Foundation.  Among the activities of the Medical Benevolence Foundation are opportunities for individuals to participate in medical mission trips, support for a school of nursing in Haiti, and support for hospitals in Haiti and the Congo.  For a list of the many projects of this foundation in 2004, click here.  Relatively small amounts of money can have a large impact.  For example, $5.00 provides childhood immunizations for a single child. During the year 2006, First Presbterian Gainesville provided $10,563 through the World Mission Conference and the Basic Sunday School Class gave $1,895.
