Guest House

Often caregivers are forced to choose between caring for their loved one and quitting their job or placing their loved one in a long-term care home because caregivers are not able to be at home during the day to provide care. For 23 years The Guest House, a state approved community care provider, has been providing quality adult day health services for 25 clients a day in the Gainesville- Hall County community.

The clients receive services from a nursing staff which provides health care monitoring and medication management, and information and referrals to other community resources. An activities staff and volunteers provide a daily schedule of recreation and fun. A morning snack and a hot balanced lunch are also provided. Service at The Guest House is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The fee is on a sliding scale based on income. In addition to funds received from First Presbyterian Church, The Guest House receives money from three other local churches, the Legacy Link, and is a United Way Hall County partner agency.
