EMBRACING children in Christ's love
EQUIPPING children by teaching scripture and Christian values
EMPOWERING children to make Christ-centered decisions and to reflect His love everywhere

Children's Church
Children's Church is available during the Sunday worship services to give children a special opportunity to learn about and worship God in age-appropriate activities. This is for children three years old through second grade.  Children in second grade attend a Worship Orientation in the fall to help them adjust to participating in a regular church service so they begin adapting to worship at an early age as described in the Book of Order.

Nursery

First Presbyterian Church provides a caring and safe "home away from home" environment for your children. Nursery care is available during all worship services and most activities. The nursery room is located in Room 168. For your child's safety, children must be registered with the nursery attendant during each visit. On-site pagers are issued to parents each time their children are in the nursery in case of emergencies.  For more information, click here>>

Kids' Night Out
6:00-10:00 PM, first or second Frjday of each month

• Sign up your children by calling the church office or emailing Ali, athompson@fpcga.org.

Sunday School
Children's Sunday school is held from 10:45 until 11:45 for ages 3 years old-5th grade. Classes are arranged by age group and use a lectionary-based curriculum, which integrates worship and education. For a list of classes, room numbers and teachers, click here>>

Worship Orientation Classes
Classes are offered in the fall for children in first grade during worship to teach them about various elements of our worship services.

WOW EEEK Classes
EEEK activities are held each Wednesday mid-August through May. Wednesday evenings are a time for children to deepen their relationships with Christ, the church, and their Christian friends. An excellent choir program offers children the opportunity to praise God through music. EEEK activities are faith enriching activities that build on the prior Sunday's Bible lesson.

Did You Know?

Each infant born into our First Presbyterian Church family receives a children's book of prayers.

When a child is baptized at FPC, we send the family a special book called The Baptism of Your Child that describes the baptism process, why it is important, and has places for all the family attending the baptism to sign their names.
