Children's
Ministries provides love, lessons, fun and
support for children from birth through Fifth
Grade. For details about our Children's Ministries, contact Louise
Robison at 770-532- 0136 or
lrobison@fpcga.org.
Children's Church
Children's Church is available during both the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday worship services to give children a special opportunity to learn about and worship God in age-appropriate activities. There are two separate classes - one for 2- & 3-year-olds and one for children age 4 through kindergarten.
Children in first grade attend a Worship
Orientation in the fall to help them adjust to
participating in a regular church service so
they begin adapting to worship at an early age
as described in the Book of Order.
Nursery
First Presbyterian Church provides a caring and safe "home away from home" environment for your children. Nursery care is available during all worship services and most activities. The nursery rooms are located in rooms 171 and 168. For
your child's safety, children must be registered with the nursery attendant during each visit. On-site pagers are issued to parents each time their children are in the nursery in case of emergencies.
Parents' Morning Out (infants & preschool age only)
Our Parents' Morning Out program for church members is held
Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Parents should provide snacks and a lunch for their child. We ask for a $5 donation per family to help defray costs.
Parents' Night Out
Parents can drop off their
infant-5th grade kids to have a night
out! Kids will have fun and games and
fellowship with other kids.
Sunday School
Children's Sunday School is held from 10:00 until 11:00 for ages 2-5th grade. Classes are arranged by age group and use a lectionary-based curriculum called, "Seasons of the Spirit," which integrates worship and education.
Worship Orientation Classes
Classes are offered each Sunday in September for children in first grade during the 11:15 a.m. worship service to teach them about various elements of our worship services.
W.O.W. Classes
W.O.W.classes, held each Wednesday afternoon
mid-August through May, help children learn the basic tenants of the Christian faith in fun and engaging ways.

Did You Know?
Each infant born into our First Presbyterian
Church family receives a children's book of
prayers.
When a child is baptized at FPC, we send the
family a special book called The Baptism of Your
Child that describes the baptism process, why it
is important, and has places for all the family
attending the baptism to sign their names.
