FPC’s Children’s Ministry partners with parents in their children’s faith development by EMBRACING…the children in Christ’s love, by EQUIPPING…the children through the teaching of Scripture and Christian values, and by EMPOWERING…the children to make Christ centered decisions and to reflect His love everywhere.
FPC’s
Children’s Ministry is committed to helping children (birth through
fifth-grade) experience the love of Jesus Christ through their
teachers and caregivers and to developing their personal knowledge
and love of our Lord Jesus Christ through prayer, praise,
fellowship, service, music, and education in a fun, enthusiastic
environment.
Our regular Children’s Ministry programs include
Sunday school, Children’s Church, Wednesday night programs, and
Kids Night
Out (KNO), which generally occurs the first Friday of each
month, is an evening of fun for children of all ages. KNO provides
an opportunity for parents to enjoy a date-night, knowing their
children are safe and well cared for. Each KNO has a theme around
which games and a craft are planned and enjoyed by the kids. After
the fun, the children have snack and enjoy a restful movie. Terrific

throughout the year. Special Events such as our Lenten Festival,
Easter Egg Hunt, pictures with Saint Nick, Advent Event,
Tikes-with-Bikes; are all designed to make learning about God
exciting!
summer months. While the younger
children enjoy camp at the church, the elementary-aged children go
on a fun-filled outing such as swimming, skating, learning about how
the mail is delivered, or visiting with the animals at the Humane
Society.
FPC’s Children’s Ministry provides a plethora of opportunities to involve children in fun, Christ-centered activities, which ultimately help parents guide the children in their faith journey.
